Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to have your personal data deleted. It supplements ourPrivacy Policy.
1. Who is responsible

2. Which data this covers
- Order and contact data: name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle, billing and delivery addresses, order details, enquiries and messages (including chats by WhatsApp or Instagram direct message), files you uploaded for an order or enquiry, and newsletter subscriptions; for creators and businesses we work with or have contacted, also the contact details and notes we keep about that contact.
- Data from Facebook, Instagram and other Meta integrations, Pinterest and LinkedIn: data we receive when an account is connected to our social media publishing tool through Facebook Login (Meta) — Instagram accounts are connected through their Facebook Page — or through the login of Pinterest or LinkedIn, see section 3. Our website itself has no Facebook or Instagram login.
- Meta Pixel: only active if you consent in the cookie banner. We do not store pixel data on our servers; we only keep a record of your choice in the cookie banner (a random consent number, the time and your answer, no IP address) for 13 months as proof of consent, see section 5.1 of ourPrivacy Policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer; data held by Meta can be managed and deleted in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
3. Our social media publishing tool
We operate an internal tool that publishes posts to the social media accounts of our own brands (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn). It is not offered to third parties and has no external users. Every post is reviewed and approved manually before publication.
When an account owner connects an account to this tool, we store only what is needed to publish to that account: the account ID, the access tokens issued for it (for Facebook and Instagram also the long-lived token of the person who connected the account, which we use to renew access), when they expire and which permissions were granted. Access tokens are stored encrypted. We do not store data about the followers of these accounts or about other users.
4. How to request deletion
- By email: write tocontact@fanufacture.shopwith the subject “Data deletion request”. Tell us which email address, Instagram handle, phone number or account the request concerns. No login or account is needed.
- Through Facebook: remove the app under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (if it is not listed there: Apps and websites). This revokes our access immediately, including to the Instagram account, because Instagram accounts are connected to our tool through their Facebook Page. Afterwards, send us a short email as above so we also delete any data already stored.
- Pinterest or LinkedIn: remove the app's access in your account settings for connected apps, then send us a short email as above.
5. What happens next
We confirm receipt of your request by email and delete the data within 30 days at the latest. Once the deletion is complete, we confirm it by email as well. Stored access tokens and account identifiers are deleted completely. Encrypted backup copies of our database are not edited afterwards; deleted data disappears from them when the copies expire. If we ever have to restore a backup, we delete such data again right away.
6. Statutory retention
Some data must be kept by law even after a deletion request, in particular invoices and the order data they contain (10 years under Spanish commercial and tax law). We keep this data only for that purpose, restrict any other use, and delete it when the retention period ends. We tell you in our confirmation which data this concerns.
7. Your other rights
You also have the rights of access, rectification, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). Details are in ourPrivacy Policy.
